What is "Total UX"?
Every self respecting designer has a personal interpretation of the term
Don Norman wrote a big, fat and a beautiful book about it; and Wikipedia defines it as :
"User Experience (UX) involves a person's emotions and attitudes about using a particular product, system or service."
For me "Total User Experience" is analogous to a freshly baked cake.
The whole of it! Including the sweet aftertaste, the lingering aroma, and the associated memory that its' fragrance brings.
The trick to building a mind-blowing User Experience?
To imagine eating the cake while making it!
(I have my own secret recipe!)
What is "Ix Design"?
In a broad sense of the term, Ix Design or Interaction Design is defined as "a practice of designing interactive digital products and systems".
The online community for interaction design (https://www.interaction-design.org/) is dedicated to keeping up with the times and trends in the industry. They define it as "the practice of designing the myriad ways by which humans can interact with computers".
What makes me an Ix Design samurai?
